Oooooh! The IKEA catalogue came today! The sleek modern look is not for me -- some of these beds are damn ugly -- but their storage combos give me that warm & fuzzy feeling. Maybe it's my nesting instinct.

I am so staying in tonight and cleaning the house. It's a mess! Time for the huge and ancient vacuum cleaner.

Also, I tried an egg/honey/olive oil combo on my hair last night, and it worked very nicely. My ends are really horribly damaged, but I don't want to get them trimmed yet because last time I lost 4 inches too much through human error, and I want it to be LONG! So I may just skip this year's "back-to-school" trim, and keep using damage control. Maybe not the smartest route, but it's only now back where it was supposed to be cut to before! ::pout::

Found one of those handy little nail polish remover containers where you stick your fingers into the jar o' sponge instead of laboring away with cotton balls. It was a relief - I've been doing more with this manicure than last time, and it was starting to look dreadful. Maybe a new one on Sunday/Monday - they're really cheap over here!

WTF is it with most hairdressers and the concept of measurement? I once measured pieces of the 1/2 inch I asked them to take off...4 inches. 4!!!!

Maybe if you go in and say "don't cut it, just stare at it for a while" they'd take off a half inch...

Well, see, it was my mom. If it had been a hairdresser, I'd've hit the roof. My mom warned me she'd already taken out her contacts, but I had wet hair RIGHT THEN and it was my last night home (she's trimmed my hair for 20 years), so I blame myself more.
